Dr. Barbara Booth moved to Forest City in 2010 with her family. She is married and has one daughter. Her interests include cats, surgery, and exotic pets. She enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Gretchen Kelly graduated veterinary school from the University of Tennessee. She moved to Forest City with her husband in 2010. She has an interest in internal medicine, radiology, and ophthalmology. She has eight dogs including Sheba, Ruppe, G, Aspen, Little Girl, Abby, Belle, and Mindy.
Dr. Samantha Freudenthal is originally from Spartanburg, SC. She attended undergraduate at Presbyterian College and veterinary school at University of Georgia. She has three dogs-a lovable mutt and two Boston Terriers. She enjoys spending time in the mountains and making crafts, especially if the crafts are for her dogs.
Kat (Kathleen) relocated to the area from West Tennessee with Dr. Kelly and Dr. Booth when they purchased the clinic in the Spring of 2010. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2002 and has a special interest in pet nutrition. If you have a question about pet food, Kat is the one to ask! She also has a special place in her heart for elderly and disabled pets. In her spare time, Kat enjoys hiking in the beautiful Western NC mountains.
Christina works as a surgical technician and veterinary assistant. She enjoys surgery because each day is different. "You never know what you are going to find." She has loved animals since she was a little girl and has been working at the clinic since 2005. She has two daughters, Skye and Emily. She describes them as "the best thing that ever happened to me."
RoAlice has had a lifelong passion for animals. She volunteers with several animal rescue groups. She works at our reception desk making our clients and their pets feel welcome.
